The Track Doubling Project: Hua Hin – Prachuab Khiri Khan consists of 4 types of span which is Slab girder, I-Girder, U-Girder and Steel Truss depending on the span length. I-Girder and U-Girder were designed as Precast system but Slab girder was designed as Cast in place. By changing this to a precast system, the Precast RC slab will make it more convenient for the construction process.

 

The new design precast slab girder consists of the following span lengths 6m, 8m and 10m. moreover, this precast slab can act as concrete formwork in later use
